givers and takers
Posted: Nov 18, 2009 in Uncategorized | No Comments |

There are two types of people in the world. There are givers and there are takers. Many differences separate these two types of people. For example:

Givers look for opportunities to serve…….Takers wait for others to serve them.

Givers find their ultimate joy in blessing others…..Takers find their ultimate joy in being blessed by others

Givers view their lives as vessels that cn be used by God however He chooses…..Takers wish they had the life of someone else

The Givers motto, “it’s all about others.”…..The takers motto, “it’s all about me.”

A giver wakes up in the morning and says, “Thank you God for how much you have blessed me.” The taker wakes up in the morning and says, “God why do others have all of the things that I deserve.”

The giver says, “I’m a vessel.” The taker says, “I’m a victim.”

When a giver is going through a difficult time, their answer is found in serving others anyway. When a taker is going through a difficult time, their answer is to complain.

Givers say, “What I have I give to you.” Takers say, “is that all?”

Givers are fulfilled…..Takers are frustrated

Givers serve the audience of one……Takers serve the audience of themselves

Givers lay their head on their pillow at night satisfied……Takers lay their head on their pillows at night sulking

Givers believe in others…..Takers blame others

Are you a giver or a taker?

With Expectancy!
